Nutmeg shell oil is extracted from the hard shell of nutmeg seeds through steam distillation. Nutmeg shell oil has a strong aroma and is rich in bioactive compounds. This oil is often used in the pharmaceutical and medicine industries because of its antibacterial and antimicrobial properties.
